White Plains Golf Course will be hosting a series of Junior Clinics this summer as well as an All Star Camp.

Karen McMeekin, LPGA Teaching Pro will be our guest instructor for all these events.  She currently teaches at Bear Trace in Crossville.  We are excited to have her here this summer helping us with our junior activities.

                The structure of our clinics will be different this year.  We will be hosting a series of two day clinics, broken down by age groups.  Our objective is for the children to have more individual instruction time with the teaching pro.  By limiting the number of kids to 10 per session (two days = 1 session) we feel we can accomplish this.  A clinic will not make if there are not a minimum of 5 children signed up prior to the Monday the clinic begins.  Participants will be contacted on the Friday before to confirm if the clinic will take place. 

The dates, age groups and pricing are listed below:

June 21 and June 23

June 28 and June 30

July 12 and July 14

July 19 and July 21

8-9:30 – ages 13 and up                 $45 for two day session

9:45-11:15 – ages 9-12                    $45 for two day session

11:30-12:30 – ages 5-8                    $30 for two day session

We are also excited to offer an All Star Junior Camp on June 14th from 9-12.  A maximum of 8 kids will be allowed to participate in this camp.  The cost is $60 per child.  The child must have participated on a golf team or played in a TGA event to be allowed in this camp.  This is strictly for the advance junior golfer.  They will spend most of the three hours on the course.

For anyone interested in Private Lessons, Karen will be staying on Monday afternoons to provide those.    She will be offering ½ hour and full hour lessons.
